Hi there! Today I'm bringing you some news from the cool guys over at GrifballHub.com. What they've organised is a forging contest for forgers to create Grifball courses that will be used in the LAN parties that they're holding in their very own booth at the Rooster Teeth Expo in Austin, Texas. To provide some more information, here's a short exert from their article:
Hello forgers and forgettes! In less than three weeks, GrifballHub will be setting down roots at the Rooster Teeth Expo in Austin, TX (July 5-7) and setting up a Grifball booth on the show floor! Thanks to our Kickstarter, not only will we have a booth but we will also have LAN Grifball at the booth!
When you do the math, that’s approximately 22 hours – almost a full day! – of non-stop LAN Grifball action. Naturally, we’re going to need courts for people to play on. While we have a solid stock of Grifball maps, we are Grifball fan-run community representing the larger Halo fan community and want to share the awesome of these communities with the world!Therefore, we are running a contest for forgers to create and submit Grifball courts to be used at RTX. That’s right! Your court will be seen and played by at least dozens of people! (Editors note: RTX sold out yesterday meaning there will be 10,000 people in attendance.)
