Winners!
The title of this FHF may say February 2013 and it may be mid-March, but rest assured there is no error.
Allow me to apologize for the tardiness of the results of last month. I have one thing to blame and one thing only: midterms.
But, Spring Break is upon us, and for the week, the only thing I have to worry about is getting properly boozed up and tending to the fine folks of Forge Hub.
Back to business though, I'd like to preface the results with a thank you to the community at large. This voting period amassed 50 votes; the most participation FHF has seen in nearly two years (if my research is correct). I'm not sure if that was a direct result of allotting up to ten maps to vote for or posting the voting page on the front page, but whatever happened it worked participation wise. So we will keep on doing it.
Now with all of that said and done, let us get to why you came here in the first place.
3rd Place
Memento | by Noooooch
Players | 4 - 8
Gametypes | Extraction KOTH Oddball Slayer
Memento has shown up on the FHF voting page before but didn't quite make the cut.
This time the map has secured a safe spot in the winners circle for FHF victories.
The map itself sports a classic but solid room based layout great for competitive play.
2nd Place
Jade | by xAudienceofone
Players | 2 - 6
Gametypes | Oddball Slayer
What a way to welcome our new Journalist into his new rank by giving him a FHF victory.
Set off the cliffs of Ravine, Jade rocks a 2v2 Slayer game.
1st Place
Skydock | by Psychoduck
Players | 6 - 12
Gametypes | CTF Extraction Dominion KOTH Oddball Regicide Slayer SWAT
This unbalanced fowl never ceases to end up on our front page for one reason or another. The primary reason for his presence on our forefront is generally due to amazing maps and Skydock is just another one of those. Reimagined from the reimagination of the campaign sequence from Reach, Cargo Port, Skydock has been a fan favorite for much of the community since its very early stages. Having personally seen several stages of the map's development I can say that it has done nothing but improved. Now, it is just as monumental, if not more so, as its predecessor. So head over to Mr. Duck's doorstep and wish him a happy Kwanza for securing yet another FHF gold.
Thus concludes yet another edition of Forge Hub Favorites. We hope you enjoyed what you see here.
If the map you wanted to win didn't end up here then feel free to nominate it again here.
As always, happy forging Forge Hub.
And may the best map win,
Organite
