Open Staff Applications!

Yes, you read that right, we're once again having open applications for some of our staff positions. We've experiment with this in the past, but now we're fully opening up to the community to apply for several of our staff positions. Remember, this isn't a chance for you to "get a colored rank" or to "become staff", this is an open application to find members that genuinely want to help the community that they are a part of.

As you may have noticed; we've been consolidating ranks and shifting and moving certain staff members around, leaving us with a strong, but somewhat small, team of dedicated staff members. And what's the best way to bolster our ranks? Why, by simply asking for dedicated community members to step up. With the recent retirement of several of our moderators and journalists we've begun to become a bit short staffed, if you'll forgive the pun. So, we're hoping some of you can fill in those gaps!

That's right, if you follow the application process (and are then selected) you'll find yourself with an orange or red name, and a job here on the site.

Simply fill out one of the following applications, and private message it to me, RightSideTheory, with the title Moderator Application or Journalist Application.
Moderator Application

Name: First Name, Last Name
GamerTag: GamerTag
Do you play Halo 4 consistently? Yes/No
Can you dedicate time to playing in the future? Yes/No

Thank you, now in the following space, please provide a short (two to three paragraphs) explanation of exactly why you believe we should choose you for the position. Be sure to include work you've done on the site, examples of your helpfulness, and general information about how you plan to moderator. Remember to treat this semi-professionally.

Now, finally, please include a mock write-up of either a map feature, or one of our regular articles. Pretend that you're writing something that would be posted on the front page of our site. This faux-article will be checked for grammar, spelling, and cohesiveness. Having a memorable, interesting, or easy to read writing style will score you extra points.
