Confused Flamingo's recap

Well goddamn, that was a strange few nights. How shall I sum them up? With sentances, most likely of the English variety. Maybe I'll even mix in some terrible puns. Who knows? I'll probably end up using paragraphs reeking of awful grammatical errors and worthless old jokes. But why does it matter? I probably won't even be able to even send this PM due to the fact that I'm gorging in the extra 180 of the things I now have no room for. OR, I could quit rambling and write the most pathetic bare bones recap I can possibly muster! *ahem* I remember doing a few scattered Clue lobbies in the past, but nobody was really interested, so I gave up. Lately I've been planning to kick things up again, in the hopes that people would have a change of heart. So I took every precaution. On Friday, I noticed there was supposed to be a tornado passing right by my house. Lucky me, an hour of the lovely fetal position in my basement. I made sure to be ready, planning to pass off the party to someone until it passed. Well, it didn't actually turn out to be a problem, seeing as only one person bothered to join. Although I'll send a warm pat on the back punch in the dick to Berb, Mock, and Career, who felt the need to mock my attempts at gathering players in the chatbox, despite the fact they were already in the process of taunting me in party chat. Fuck you guys, fuck you in your clenched anuses. I'm kidding, I love you all Except you, Career.

I decided to postpone the lobby to Saturday. Saturday brought with it five eager players, which is all I really need to kick things off. But the oppertunity to double our numbers presented itself when Tutui offered me what remained of his lobby in exchange for a final test on one of his attendent's maps (they didn't happen to get to it). Seems like a good deal, right? Well, it was a cerial bowl in which each team drove out of their bases (using a scattered set of vehicles), and into the front end of the gause (gauze?) (gauss?) blast someone always seemed to have steadied at your front door. But a deal was a deal, 75 points and it was over.

Not much to write about what happened next. We partook in game after game of oh so glorious Clue, albeit many players had to catch the hang of it before it gained the potential to heat up. Games got progressively wilder and began to pick up an eerie vibe as the players learned to memorize key strategies.

But the participants dropped off like flies, and slowly but surely, we were cut down to a lonely handful incapable of a game. I thought the lobby had died there; I had said farewell and the flatline became apparant. But WAIT. A ragtag group of guests I had kicked earlier returned, and...nope. Much to my dismay, they were seekign a vengeful laugh rather than an enjoyable evening. They basically were screwing with me by immediately killing everyone off of spawn. When they were fucking tired of that, we tried for a serious lobby, but ended up stumbling around pointlessly through unsatisfying game after unsatisfying game. Just when I was about to call the whole charade off, the lobby suddenly filled again (thank god, with people who knew what they were fucking doing) and we barrelled through game after game of Clue, Camosnipes, and PIG, before going into matchmaking to flood the lobbies.

Here are some games samples:

Clue
Camosnipes
PIG
Flood Matchmaking

Here are some pictures

Thanks to everybody that played. Seriously, it was PENsational.

PS If something offended you, then you should take care to not screw up Mingo's lobby

PPS I hope I didn't let on that I have no actual clue as to what I was supposed to write.

PPPS Did you catch that? It was one of my puns.

PPPPS Did you catch the one with the pen as well?

PPPPPS Fuck you, Career

PPPPPPS <3 Career

Berb's recap
Well everyone, this week ran a bit different to the last few. With not even 10 people signing up for the 7 hosts, things moved a little too slow on Friday. Luckily for me, I hosted my first BIOC lobby on the Saturday, which proved to be more of an eventful occasion. For that, I'll recap here under the name of: Berb's BIOC/TGIF-contingency-if-nobody-shows-up Lobby, of Awesomeness!

Now, because of the theme we over at BIOC have going, the game and map playlist I had running was purely infection (of the survival kind) based. We decided to start off the lobby with some Pandora's Fear, BoF nominee and ForgeHub featured map. For those who have read these recaps, you'll know that I pretty much comment on this map week in, week out.

An basic picture of the entrance to the main building

Some doodz walking through the halls, unaware that the zombies can come from everywhere.

The next notable game was a test on Paints' map Parts Unknown, which he co-forged with FantasticNoob. The map is built on Alaska, in a big coliseum wall arena, sorta like Isolation from Halo 3 is. Inside the tall grey walls is a building, a lava pit, and a bunch of broken deteriorated building and stuff. With all the broken walkways and pillars, infected can hop around the map in areas that are otherwise blocked off to the regular humans.

A general overview picture of Parts Unknown.

Some warthogs were pooped on during this test.

We also played some other things like:

Redy's recap

Hello Everyone! To introduce all for my recap, I would say that my lobby starts a little early about the time that I wanted to start and finish faraway, but was only 3:45 when I enter in reach. I was surprised by the number of messages that I had in my Inbox, and how people came into my room very quickly.0_o For a few seconds I wanted to start with the smaller capacity maps, since I had a few Infection ones that I want to test. But I had to appeal to some THFE Invasion at the time. We played in Broadcast made by Able Sir Thomas(that was really amazing with people in longstanding Sprees with the Banshee)and before, we shared fun in "Invasion Docks"(Rival Mass).

We also threw in a "Forerunner" themed Invasion map, that was pretty cool.

Before that, we played "Bro Slayer" in "Majestica".

Lol, Spider Ghost

At this moment, I decided to making more time and continue the party spans until all people quit. Then to promote it, I put some minigames like "Trench Warfare", and "Armor Walkers". (They are my favorites) Some people in my lobby were surprised by what they found, and even they had never played something so different in Reach. Until then I tried to show all the maps I had to offer at that time, resulting in a great funny moment.

The lobby was awesome, entitled to awesomeness fun and nice chat and talking people this time. To get a good yield, I had hoped to play a good "5 levels of Terror", and we had a great performance, people try to camp with the snipah in the 1st level, but that was not enough to contain the zombies. And after that I wanted to repeat the experience of the current THFE published map "Metropolis" on the table.

We also play in a lot of developing maps, I must thanks to Berb, because I got this one last time I witnessed his last TGIF. So thanks Berb, I could repeat a One flag in that pearl here. ;D

And thats about It, see you next time Folks!

Tutui's recap

Well that was an interesting lobby. First off, it was on saturday instead of the usual Friday. Guess it was more of a "TGIS" rather than TGIF. It was also my first official lobby with psychoduck doing BTB testing for THFE.

I speant most of the day sitting in Berb's BIOC lobby, playing a shit ton of infection games. I was finnally forced out by Duck to finnally start my own lobby, and I kinda took Berbs people with me. Sorry, man!

Anyway, the First map of the day was Hivemind. We had some excellent aireal combat going on that game between the two falcons. We were playing it in order to get footage for a possible feature on THFE, and I do think that we got what we need. ;)

Next we played Obelisk by m'pal Equinox. It is a brilliant forge which, in my most humble opinion, should be getting way more credit than it is. Nox also needed footaget to take pictures from, so I look foreward to seeing it posted soon, right nox?

IMA FIRIN MAH LAZAH BLAUGH!

This is... deffinatly acceptable...

Moving on to more TGIFy stuff, we played a few rounds of FWOT, and then Psychoduck left and the party died down. we played a few more Minigames, but I just ended up joining Mingo's clue lobby. Thanks to all that came out!

Ill have Nox's map up next time (if he reminds me,a nd if he posts it)
