Well hello there! How are we doing tonight? Looking for some excellent community creations I see. Well, look no further! Well, a bit further--until this obligatory introductory paragraph is over. After you're done reading this part though, look no further! This cycle we'll be seeing maps from some familiar faces, built and rigorously tested until they were everything a Halo enthusiast could wish for!
S by Psychoduck
You may have heard of Psychoduck's map S before--he's been working on it for quite some time now. It's had it's fair share of attention in his preview thread, and it has officially been released! Upon release, the Forge Hub Favorites' nomination thread was echoing with it's name. Our first place winner this cycle goes to Mr. Duck, and it's well deserved. The (non-overwhelming) vehicular mayhem that takes place on S is something many map authors have strived for in the past, yet couldn't pull off. If you're into competitive custom games, grab this map, your party will enjoy it!

MLG Cataract -- Co-Forge
MLG Cataract, what is there to be said about this map? Well, if you're an MLG enthusiast, you should give it a go--experience the map that has practically nominated itself. This laterally symmetric map supports both MLG Slayer and MLG Hill, and to top it off, it's got a beautifully crafted waterfall that runs over a neutral portion begging for everyone to come splash around in. That's what I do during intense games at least. I'm not good at Halo, though.
Who is there to thank for this excellent map? None other than WALDO the lemon (who was in the last Forge Hub Favorites article as well), Seven oh Three and Hikarux. Better get used to seeing these names, if they produce maps of this caliber they're bound to be up here again.

Depot by CyborgAnthro
Tying for second place this cycle comes Depot by CyborgAnthro! This open-air, minimalistic, Ghost Town inspired map sits proudly in the quarry with a vista of Forge World that is often obscured with blocks and walls. The object selection and placement works so well in Depot that this creation is capable of supporting two player split screen, a feat that is notable in itself! Anyone who has spent any amount of time in Forge knows just how difficult it is just to create a single player map without frame-rate lag, to actually have this functional for split screen is something that is almost unheard of.
