2v2 Throwdown Grand Finals
Thirteen weeks of tense competition have brought us here: the Grand Finals of our 2v2 Throwdown tournament. Pikachu have fought their way through the Loser Bracket since Round 4 to face off against the Winner Bracket Champions, Double Rainbow. If they wish to continue their underdog run and take the tournament, and the first place prize, then they must win two straight series; four out of a potential six games. With a lovingly crafted map dedicated to this climactic series, it'd be a shame for this one match to be all the action this masterpiece sees. Be sure to check it out if you haven't already, the download is but a scroll away.
As always, we would like to emphasise how it is each team's responsibility to do all they can to contact and organise a time with their opponents, as in cases where the match is not played it is in your interests to prove that you made every effort possible, thereby avoiding the forfeit. We would also like to remind contestants that any issues or complaints made against an opponent should (if relevant) be accompanied by a saved film of the game in question, uploaded to a file share and linked in the message. Complaints, issues or questions can be sent in a Personal message to myself. For convenience, here are the links to the gametype and map for the Loser Bracket Finals:

We'd also like to thank Astro for their support and donation of our first place prizes. Watch the front page for further announcements on the final placings as we begin to wrap up what has been a fantastic tournament.
