TGIF 26: Recap

Unfortunately my blue tgif went off with more of a quiet parp than the big bang I was hoping for. Probably caused by my inability to read a clock, the party started late (by an hour) and I apologise to all those who were online and asked to be invited but weren't because I got on late.

Nevertheless I was able to get a stable, if slightly reduced in numbers party together and some smaller races, minigames and trad games were played. Alas my problems with this party had not ended and half an hour in everybody lagged out and the match looked like this:

(Castrum by Creech n Spawn)

The party regrouped and some testing on my upcoming map winterfell took place. An hour and a half later, a couple of games of snipers followed by some more random gamez from my partygoers brought my party to a close and shortly you will be seeing my name in blue I hope!

The first ever Forza 4 TGIF, hosted by me didn't exactly go to plan. First off, nearly all of the people who I know who owned Forza couldn't attend for one reason or another and the only person who showed up in the end was Pinohkio so mcuh love to him for being awesome and turning up. We had greatt fun, even if it was only 3 races together before he had to scoot back of to Battlefield, but it still meant that my night spent awake until 4am wasnt wasted.

Good times were had all round, with me finishing a respectable 6th out of 14 with pino bringing up the rear. Roles were reversed for the second race when I decided that I should cause some carnage, choosing my massive Hummer H1 against a grid full of sports cars. First turn pile-up guaranteed. Pino finished well in 6th.

So again, thanks to pino for turning up, you made my day, and I'm sure there will be others who turn up to the next one. (I'm looking at you Chron)

I also got a few images, so there they are:

Guess which one I am!

This guys wasn't happy after... :D

HEllo again everybody!

HAppy halloween! Id like to say first of all, that even though I was there for only a short time, the lobby was phenomenal. I didnt stick true to infection only, unfortunatly, but we still had a blast. Co-hosting with Kid Supreme was ok, but I personnally find it much more simple to host solo. Kid Supreme is a great host, but Dual hosting isnt really my thing.

I also have to mention that I lost all the videos from the lobby, so the entire recap is from memory and with no pictures. Sorry, but here goes:

We started off with a crash up derby game. normally I dont mention it if we do play it, but this time I have to. Not only did I get BACK UP onto the starting platform after a head on collision, I also was IN THE MINE PIT, WITH MY WARTHOG for an ENTIRE ROUND. 'Splain that! I wish I could prove it, but again, I have no pictures saved. *sad face*

After that, we played a variety of infection gametypes. People suggested interesting gametypes that I have never seen before, and it was very fun to play them for the first time. Wish I saved them, though!

Anyway, when I left the party in the capable hands of Kid Supreme (and neverendinghalo, who couldent get a lobby going) it was in full swing, and I really regret leaving early. What do they say, eh? Im sorry I came late, but at least I'm leaving early!

Thanks all, and hope to see y'all at the next one!

K1D SRPR3M3's recap

Tutui99 delayed the lobby, the time I could have used to get to Oceanside to be with my family for the weekend -.- but in that time, I was able to finish some last minute preparations for my lobby. I have to admit, it was pretty fun having a full lobby to dual host with 22EE, I'm not sure if he wants to do it again, but I'm starting to get myself known a little bit here. So anyways, to the recap. I have to admit, the night was pretty damn fun, playing a bunch of games and breaking our infection-only rule. Still, we played some of my unreleased maps I was dying to play, and every one was successful, except this one map named "extremity", which actually REALLY sucked. Everything else was fine, and I made the lobby put up with the testing of my new infection map series "Iniquity". Iniquity is inspired by Plasma Blade's "Incision" series. Thanks bro. Well, when I was host, we played some popular, and non-popular games, mostly infection, but some that consisted of other gametypes too. It was really fun, and the lobby was pretty big until Tutui left and the party just naturally died down. I enjoyed this lobby, and hopefully I could dual host with Tutui again, as long as he doesn't hog all the host power >.< This should technically be my third TGIF, but the first one I had just completely failed, so it shouldn't count. Now, off to some action shots :)

This right here has to be the sickest wraith overkill on Jump Rope. Ever.

Tutui LOVED this map, one of my unreleased maps that I've ALWAYS wanted to play. I also had this map in Halo 3 and I thought a remake would be nice. The map name is "Zombie Escape", where you drive to a powerup to kill the zombie :D
Well guys, that's my Friday night overview. I had a really great time and thank everyone that came to the awesomeness of mine and Tutui's party!

Well for my first TGIF party I didn't get anybody to join so then I just joined Berbs party and then Tutui99. But after that I ended up with some map testing, a party of about 8 or 9. For my first TGIF hosting party that's alot and I can't wait for next week!
Sorry I only have a couple of pics but I will have alot more next time.
