TGIF 23 recap for Tutui’s party
Hey all!
Honestly, I have NEVER had as much fun in ANY customs lobby as with this TGIF. I mean, wow! We kept a full party the whole night, AND I had a backhaul of 47 messages requesting invites! Thanks to everyone who came out to have a great night of custom games.
I opened up the party with a limit of 12 for the grand release of my new competitive minigame series: Forgeworld Of Tanks, or FWOT for short. In FWOT, each player gets one life, one pistol, and one crapload of firepower- the M808B Scorpion main battle tank. The object of the game? Be the last team standing. I plan on making at least 7 maps for FWOT, but as of Friday, I had only 2 completed. These two I call Bridgeland and Bridgland Vally. They both use the same basic design (with 3 massive bridges spanning Hemmorhage) but one is on the bridges and is for 3 teams of 4, and the other is under the bridges and is for 6v6.
Players absolutely adored this gametype, and we played it (by request) 6 times, more than any other one gametype in any lobby that Ive seen. Below are a few action shots of Bridgeland.
Here are some shots of Bridgeland Valley:
Of course, we didn’t JUST play my maps. J We also played some minigames such as Crash-up Derby, as well as a game of Armour walkers. Now this game had an awesome highlight:
This is a Picture of Frosted Grunt, who got launched right out of Forgeworld at the beginning of the match. It was one of the craziest things I ever saw! He just randomly shot 5 miles into the air. The best part? HAVING HIS BODY FALL ON MY WARTHOG.
We played very few competitive maps, but there is something about them worth mentioning. After 4 months of solid work, Flying Shoe finally finished Embarcadero. I loved this map from the moment I saw it, and I was very excited to finnaly be able to play the completed Embarcadero. Me and Mocknizzle teared up red team on a hog. He got 20 kills in the turret, and I was splattering away. Good times. J
Well this has been my recap of TGIF 23. Just FYI, next week is my PURPLE ANNIVERSARY, meaning I finally get my official TGIF Host Rank, so TGIF 24 will be the biggest, the baddest, the CRAZIEST party I ever host! Make sure to check the sign-ups next Wednesday! Till’ then, Amigos!

PS. I know I spelled Valley wrong. I did it on purpose.
The party started off somewhat slowly, but with aid from members of the party, it grew to a massive size and lasted as such for quite a while. Unfortunately i had urgent matters to attend to so i gave possession of the party to Black Theorem, who last i saw, was playing clue with the party, which they enjoyed thoroughly.
Hey guys, my second ever TGIF hosting was great! We mostly played campaign due to the desire of everyone involved to get that luscious 30k challenge. First off we loaded up exodus for some fun jet-packing action. The mission started well with nobody dying while waiting for the elevator but once we teamed up with the ODST's to earn our wings, all hell broke loose as someone learnt that you could push people off course while in the air. As such, a mid mission jetpack sumo bout kicked off! It wasn't untill ten minutes later we realised we were still in campaign...
After polishing off Exodus, we moved onto Swordbase (odd order I know) and after completeing it without too much trouble re-loaded it and played the warthog race easter egg for a while. This was the highlight for me as I had never played it before and I have to say, it was kickass.
After that we played various competitive maps until the party dwindled out early and I logged off. Sorry anyone who wanted an invite in the last half hour!Download Links:
