Okay Okay I know what you're thinking; who's this Skisma guy, I want Stevo! Well the truth is, Stevo took his journalistic powers over to XForgery due to an argument he and a staff member had. I kid, I kid. He's still lurking around here somewhere, just less red. I'm actually quite similar to the man if you think about it. I mean, our names are both two syllables, they both start with S, and we're both pretty cool guys! ...right?

Alright enough about us, lets get back on topic here. With the recent one year anniversary of Halo Reach we've come to our twenty-sixth bi-weekly Forge Hub Favorites. Wait, that's not right; but there's fifty-two weeks in a year, and fifty-two divided by two is...guys? Did we have a late start? For our twenty-second Forge Hub Favorites we had a mix between small 2v2 maps and large BTB maps. So I'm guessing you want to find out who won right? Okay, I guess.

Metropolis by MockKnizzle008

MockKnizzle008 has created quite the Big Team Battle map. Heavily inspired from the Halo 2 classic Headlong, Metropolis is an asymmetric battlefield that'll keep you on your toes for the entire match. Gameplay is geared towards the center building; I have a feeling it's because there's roughly four power weapons nearby. The placement of the two middle buildings breaks up the lines of sights just the right amount to keep the map from being too open. With plenty of vehicle-destructive weapons spread throughout, vehicles aren't too overwhelming. Metropolis should feel right at home on your Harddrive.

Mineral by SinlessLegend

Filling the spot of our second place position is a tiny map recommended for no more than four players. Mineral has it all; gameplay, aesthetics, lighting, and weapon placement. The blend of tight corridors and an open middle make for excellent close ranged combat, while still offering mid range encounters as well. The map is filled with rocks to give a unique aesthetic touch and an orange light brightens up the arena beautifully. The trip to the Rocket Launcher is risky yet rewarding as it rests at the top of three pillars that act as lilly pads. SinlessLegend has built quite the 2v2 map. If you haven't already checked this out, give it a download!

Hivemind by Nutduster

Hivemind is the final map showcased in this round of Forge Hub Favorites. Created by Nutduster, Hivemind is a large scale map meant for full parties. Two Falcons sit on opposite ends which are counter balanced by two Rocket Hogs. This may seem like a lot of heavy machinery, but there are two Rocket Launchers and a Plasma Launcher to destroy any vehicle that spends too much time on the battleground. Words can't describe how gorgeous the two bases look. It's like he chose the perfect pieces and placements to craft two unique looking hangers. Hivemind is definitely a keeper.
