With the Halo Community Charity Marathon taking up a big part of one of the more recent TGIF game nights, we've found ourselves so wrapped up in getting our gamer face on we've accidently 'misplaced' a few of the recap entries... woops!
So, we have a fairly short (but still rather long) recap for you this time round. Thanks to the two members who supplied the information to Pegasi last time round. We'd also like to apologise for the article's delay. Catch you all at the next TGIF!

Hemorrhage ...well you all have that.
Recap:
So this week we were going to play halo, like we did for so many weeks before. But this week we were doing it for others. We were playing games, not just for us, but for charity... Ok yeah we all know that half you didn’t notice anything different. But thanks to our friends over at XForgery and all our hard work, we raised a whole heap of money for the nice people over at Child's Play. In total we ended up raising $368.27 in only a few days.
I would also like to thank all of people for making an awesome weekend of games! All the hosts and players combined put up some staggering numbers. Over just the three days the marathon took place, we logged 931 collective games and 1811 collective hours played. Now some people played more than others, but that doesn’t matter. As a group, we did an amazing thing and helped to donate to a charity while having a good time with an amazing community. When such a large, dedicated group of people, such as the halo community, comes together, and with all the talent we have in this community, there is no limit to what we can accomplish. Donations will be kept open until August 10th, at which point the drawings for the prizes will be made. If you have any questions visit the official site and ask there.

Now we played some old fashioned CTF on Hemorrhage. He got the flag and Here comes the calvary!
Oh GOD! RUN AWAAAAAAAAAY!
Well, this last TGIF was very interesting indeed. The fact that the HCCM was going on made the night much better, and fun. Now I had initially planned to start at 6:00 pm EST but after being messaged a lot, I started four and a half hours early.
When I began, I started a round of minigames that generally please most of the community. Then, with speed and co. out of the way, I began to put on the really good ones. To my surprise, a wild Sharp appeared in my lobby and partied up with me for a few hours. Keeping almost a full lobby throughout the night was very easy, playing some really good invasion, BTB flag and minigames which kept us all engaged.
Then, nearing around 10:00pm, I realized I was running out of things to put on. Thankfully, the kids wanted to play some of the minigames again so they kept happy for a while.
At around 1:00, the party started to empty. People were tired and wanted to go to bed. Thankfully, I had 8 people from the west coast with me so we went in and played matchmaking in the BTB playlist. At 2:30, after listening to a story from Organite about the humble beginnings from the review hub, I went to bed.
At lunch time I rose again, to quickly get ready and get on the xbox. At around 4:00pm on Saturday I party bombed my new best friend Sharp, and it all happened again.
now for some pics:
this guy travelled so fast on speed he merged with the wall
on cawk blawkin', someone quit forcing this guy into being a zombie 'blocker'. he kept his evade though...
on bee bashers, a double host change forced all of these guys out of their banshees. luckily for them, two guys survived the fall! i had to end the game

Hosting the entire week can take its toll on one, but not me! We played a plethora of custom games, including (but not limited to) Bee Bashers; CTF on Hemorrhage; Trench Wars; First Tracks; and an almost uncountable number of mini-games.Memories include the terrorizing EMP burst of the double host quit (Seen in Berb's recap) "We can definitely make it to the flag!"... "No we can't! Run away!" (partially shown in Sharp's recap) and the ever popular "Oshi- He has a launcher" (whenever somebody takes a warthog over the Hills in Hemorrhage.
