I think we may have really hit it off! For once, we actually had a full party consistantly throughout the whole night. Although this time it lasted three hours rather than six, it felt more solid somehow; players were actually chatting amongst each other. Banter WAS prevalent. However, once again, Clue was the glue of the night, at fourteen games strong, but I feel it's a good thing. We got a buch of people's maps tested, and got in a bunch of great minigames and competitive maps. It was a fun night, and raged all the way past midnight. I'll toss up the schedule.

Precipice
Checkpoint
Speed Racer V2
Plato's Cave r08
Roundabout
Battleships
Clue (x14)
Bemire
A.C 1~1: Encounter
Fight Club
Templar

Eventually it became apparant that air was too mainstream for us hipsters, so oxygen was drained from the party. We didn't die though, because death is also too mainstream.[/inside joke] We got enough tests on Arhis Hall as so that it can be registered as a new Clue map. :D I don't think I ever had to kick anybody, so thanks, guys, for being on your best behavior.

Time for pictures.

A lovely game of Clue on Arhis Hall.

Fear the pink mist.

Thanks for coming, and I hope to see you all again next time!

Hey guys last Friday was an interesting TGIF. We started off getting some people together playing some pretty sweet minigames like Tetris and Hogs from Heck. The children appeared to have their happy faces on after the minigames so I decided to make a new addition to my TGIF playlist: Yahtzee Yahoo. It’s a pretty fun GL minigames map made by our tester’s guild leader Perky Porkie.

The party filled to its full potential so I then decided to test a couple maps that were made for BTB slayer, BTB flag and invasion. We had stuff like Onyx Melon’s map Scar and Soul Slasher’s upcoming map Alluviation(?) and of course I cant forget Embarcadero. (I mean, it’s not like I play that map every day or anything.) I also would like to say that once again I had a wonderful game on Cargo Port with one flag CTF.

Now for some pics of the maps i mentioned earlier:

this is Yahtzee Yahoo

And thus ends another week of TGIF. i would like to thank everyone who came to my party and everyone who blew out my eardrums in Plasma's party after.

Sharp's Awesome Party Recap of an even more Awesome Party!

So, my TGIF started out like any other. Except for the fact that pinohkio fell asleep on me and woke up 45 min into it. Oh well, but I have to say that hosting by myself was a good experience because I was able to connect with my party better. Even when we were trying to get a party together, we were joking and having fun. As usual we tested a few maps and I embarrassed myself with my lack of skill. Then we had a party when Vicious Vice and Black Theorem joined in. Besides being all around friendly people, it allowed me to pass around ideas for games and make the party a lot more fun.

In his classic form, vicious loaded up a slew of race maps for us to play and boy were they fun. We were smashing into fusion coils, ramming each other off of the edges and laughing the whole way through. Then we had Black Theorem take over and we played Clue. For those of you who don't know, clue is an honor rules game that resembles the board game in my ways. After explaining the rules we had a ton of fun playing and our 2 hour TGIF turned into a 4 1/2 hour extravaganza. Thanks to everyone who came out to play and next week we are going to have a surprise for anyone who joins my party. A little charity event, with a twist.

Maps:

BattleShips
Jetball
Hogs from Heck

So much for " I'll watch your back, you watch mine"

The Rain-makers. Not fun to be on the ground.

The fusion coil hits me....out of everyone, ME!!!

We were good at Purple Bunker...

But then again we had a lot of people. =D

If you wouldn't mind putting this as either #1 or the last one, I feel a lot of people are missing the video if it's camouflaged in with a wall of text.

I'll admit it, I overslept long into the afternoon, and woke up 45 minutes into TGIF 19. Thankfully Sharp was on at the correct time and covered for me until then, and fret not; we partied hard for at least 4 hours. However, this week we did things a little differently, gone completely was the age of games of Invasion and Flag, and thus a New Age was born, an age of Minigames and races and catapulting Wraiths down a rather steep incline!

Fortunately however, this is Halo and catapulting Wraiths are of no harm to us! And so we powered on! Taking whatever the enemy teams could hit us with! (Including, but not limited to: Needlers, Concussion Rifles, Wraiths, Warthogs (With the most daring attempt done by myself) and the humble Fusion Coil!)

Well hello literate Forgehub members. I regret to inform you that due to my intense procrasturbation busy schedule, it's been a little under a week since I've hosted the TGIF. Events may or may not be somewhat fuzzy. So bear with me on this recap as I say stereotypical things that would be expected of someone who hosted a popular event.

I do remember some things, though I don't exactly know of any small details (except for the fact that, like most always, the party filled up in under thirty seconds). As usual, we started the night playing Crash-up Derby. Soon we moved onto some infection games, my own campaign maps to be specific. If my memory serves me right, which to be honest is rather unlikely, we also played The Sewers and had a large group of survivors make it to the end. In addition to some of the proven favorites, a few new games were added to the line-up. Games such as Battleships and Annihilation Circuit seemed to be generally accepted by new and returning members alike.

Now that the link requirements are out of the way, I'll cram in as many stereotypical comments that I can think of into this paragraph! I had a great time. You guys were awesome. Thank you all for coming to my TGIF lobby! I hope you guys had as much fun as I did! I look forward to seeing you join again in the future!
Did I forget anything there? No? Oh well, onto the pictures.

As with tradition, everyone gathered in the center in hopes of getting their picture in the recap. So how many of you can see yourselves here? If you can, you get a cookie. But you have to get the ingredients and bake it yourself.

Well this picture brings back memories. That involve quite a bit of terrified profanity. And other unmentionable comments. Let's just say that I don't cope well when nine zombies all attack me at once.

"Wow, this sounds like a massive gay orgy." How very true. It did. Fun game nonetheless.

This is the first time I've ever been spawn-killed by a killball. And then it just rolled away completely nonchalantly like nothing had happened.

I hope you all enjoyed the recap. I'd like to thank all the hosts that made this article possible. If you'd like to host a TGIF or contribute to a host's recap, check out the next Site Update for information.
