Hello there my fellow hubbers :D

The past two weeks have flown over rather quickly so I’d like to take a minute or two of your time (or twenty) to show you three groovy new maps that have excelled in this week’s Forge Hub Favourite voting stage! So take a pew gentlemen, light your cigars and prepare yourself for a very enlightening read.

Tayari by Paranoia UK

Good day my fellow sir! I’d love to stay and chat with you, however, we’re in Tayari for a reason… and it’s a FIGHT TO THE DEATH! MWAHAHAHAHA.

Respawn in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
-.-

Tayari is a 1v1 (or 2v2) map that uses the most unusual piece configurations known to man! However, Paranoia UK pulls it off so unbelievably well, the whole atmosphere of the map goes perfectly. Designed specifically from an aesthetical point of view to make sure the map maintains its feel, he repeatedly recreated the map to ensure gameplay was at its peak before release. He’s also pulled through a new use for Teleporters by creating a Mario-style Telepit.

Reflect by Stevo

Reflect was forged by me to initially create an atmosphere that demonstrated a section from Halo 2 campaign. Due to item limit, space, and budget, I decided to re-create the map from a Symmetrical point of view and inject my own sporadic creativity in there. Taking into the considerations of the word “reflect” and directly linking it to an illusion, I created a few mind bending illusions of my own that’s represented by my signature which a few members have already messaged me about...

Do you know your signature isn’t actually a reflection?

Have you been affected by corruption on forgehub? Do you need someone to talk to about this? Contact someone who cares by paying this guy a hefty bribe

Concave by AceOfSpades 3

And our final map of the bunch this round goes to Concave. Using an unbelievably amazing asymmetrical layout, Concave also rocks out some pretty awesome aesthetics to keep players flowing round the map without ever stopping to check their compass… (inorite? Who the heck uses that thing?!?)

Anyway, Concave is often referred to as an asymmetrical successor to another one of Ace’s maps, Essence. Built with scenery and location in mind, I think we can all agree Ace has built yet another masterpiece for Forge hub collectors.

I bid thee farewell…

I thank all you fine Sirs and Madams for your patience in this communal conversation. I think we can hold our highly-prestiged heads high and say “Well done” to the winners this Forge Hub Favourites. I'd also like to take a second to point out that we've decided to start honouring our Forge Hub Fav's by sticking them on a timed sticky for a 2 week duration since winning the noble title.... Ohhh Groooovy ;)
