Tz’s Recap, Week of the 21st

Well, there’s not much to say really. We were down and out and needed some Gatorade to refresh our bodies and souls. That’s right, major changes were put into effect by the staff last week that affected many of our users. Most notably the biggest change was the removal of the loyal rank and we're honestly sad to see them go.

In happier news, the Review Hub has had a ginormous amount of changes in recent months and is operating at full capacity. Its sister board the Testers Guild has also had a complete overhaul. It may just be me, but the Testers Guild is getting a lot of action, if ya know what I mean! Wink wink. Seriously though, we need more able bodies to storm the front lines with us. Alright, and if that previous line didn’t convince you, I know this will! I lie waiting under your bed 'til you go to sleep so I can play with your feet. Creep! Seriously though, we’ve relaxed our rules so our testers now have a more “free roaming” environment they can explore, with multiple classes, story options, and.. what!? This ain’t no RPG! We’ve opened up a realm of possibilities with the Testers Guild, so come and check us out.

Road to Loyal

Hang on, I thought you said Loyal was no more! Well you silly creature, you weren’t paying attention were you? The purple robes can now be obtained by either joining the Review Hub or the Testers Guild. More options have the possibility of opening up in the future.

If you are one of the lucky few who get picked to join the Review Hub, you're required to post one review per week - and mind you, each review has to be up to the Review Hub's standards. If you happen miss a week you may be removed. Make nice with the Review Hub and you’ll obtain the Loyal: Review Hub rank and gain access to the Hub Pub and many other niceties.

In the Testers Guild you gain ranks by obtaining stars. Gain enough stars and you advance a rank - progressing to “Senior Member” in the Testers Guild you will gain the Loyal: Testers Guild rank.

Where's your humanity!?

As a moderator I often have to make the somewhat difficult moral decision to infract you guys. Sure, I can mindlessly infract everyone who gets reported. However, I find it often works better when I choose not to hand out an infraction, and talk to you about the issue instead. That’s not to say I make it common practice to do this. It’s not that I’m just being nice... I’m trying to help you guys, one way or the other.

LOLbox

I know sometimes I get carried away in the Shoutbox - we all do - but the most common complaint and the easiest way to start a fight is to use vulgar language as an insult. Also be mindful of any comments that target a specific race, creed, ethnicity, sexuality or gender, 'cause you don’t know who’s watching. The shoutbox is a privilege and is not something you need to have. So, if you constantly abuse the BroBox, you will be banned indefinitely. Play nice.

Justles

There once was a boy who I knew whose name was Justles. He behaved well, yet he had some hard times ahead of him. Sure, he was my buddy, my pal, but then I disappeared into the mist and so did he. The Testers Guild is calling…… Justles. It commands you - it requires you.
