First things first: We'd like to apologise for this rather belated update. With the recent server issues and downtime things have been somewhat up in the air, but the front page is now back on track. This also seems like as good a time as any to remind people of a sadly forgotten Customer Service resource, The Bug Thread. The server troubles are still being worked on, but it's worth letting you guys know that it could stay rough on this front for a little while yet. Please just bear with us and if you find a bug or glitch that hasn't been mentioned already then notify us about it in that thread, if there's anything we can do to alleviate these issues on an individual basis then we'll give it our best shot.
Promotions/Demotions
On a more positive note, we'd like to give a shout out to our newest Loyal member, Kidbomber. His work with the Testers Guild, his efforts in the GnA Forum, and his general good will and helpful attitude around the site made him a shoe in for coloured status. We know he's had a while now to settle in to his new colours, but be sure to congratulate him all the same. Predicide has held the rank of Guardian for most of the time that it has existed, and as he moves back to the rank of Premium we'd like to thank him for all his time and effort spent keeping the map forums clean. Linubidix also gives up the moderating game, in this case moving from full Moderator back down to Loyal. For all the massively unfair and corrupt infractions he dished out, and also for his dedication in GnA as well, we say cheers dude.

We know you're probably getting a little impatient waiting to find out who took the top spot in our recent aesthetic Forge-Off, WotW. With all the fuss that's been going down of late, front page work has slipped off track a little. But we assure we haven't forgotten about all those beautiful submissions, and you can expect a winners announcement to manifest itself within the next week. Whilst there wasn't quite the volume of entries that we had hoped, the forging displayed in some of the final submissions is nothing short of beautiful. Watch this space to see who takes home first.
TGIF Banner Contest
The revelation is somewhat diminished here by the fact that our TGIF Banner Contest winner was, rather accordingly, sat right right at the top of our last TGIF: Be a Hero! sign-up thread (for which, by the way, we'd like to thank all who participated. It was great to be able to combine custom game night fun with helping Bungie do something charitable, props to all who attended). Forge Hub Favorites
Our first edition of Forge Hub Favorites proper seemed to go down pretty well, and we wanted to remind you all that the second installment is on it's way. Before then, however, we need you guys to get voting on the three maps that will make it this time around. The five maps which received the most nominations during the first voting stage are now up in their own voting thread which can be found here. Check it out and let us know what you think should grace the front page in the upcoming issue of FHF.
Halo: Reach sub-forum
With Bungie's staunch media embargo on Halo: Reach information now at an end, there is not only much more information regarding the next Halo title circulating around, but an increased amount of content which is legitimate for posting on these forums (no, still no magazine scans). To encourage this already rife discussion and excitement around Reach we've added a new Halo: Reach Discussion sub-forum to the Halo Discussion section. Most if not all relevant Reach threads have been moved already, but if you find something you think needs to be moved in to the new section then please PM a Staff member with a link and they can move it.
Mobile Skin Beta
We've just this second deployed a new style designed to make browsing Forge Hub on your mobile a little more pleasant. Check it out for yourself by scrolling to the bottom of the page ad selecting 'FH Mobile' from the Quick Style Chooser. Whilst we were trying new things, we decided to give a new Imageshack feature a test drive, the upshot of which is that you can upload images directly to Imageshack and embed them here without ever having to leave Forge Hub. Neat, huh? You can do so in each reply and new topic dialogue. We're also after your feedback on both the skin and the Imageshack tool, so for bugs and requests, hit our feedback thread link and speak your mind.
That about wraps it up
