Photographers Inc. Winner
Congratulations to Meeky for winning the recent Photographers Inc. Contest with Fire Factory. Our 'shortlist' for judging this time around was somewhere in the region of 20 images, so thanks to all of you who made our job difficult with the standard of entry. Meeky came out victorious however, and with a few more photos that caught our eye, he thoroughly deserves your artistic appreciation. For those of you who entered this time - and those of you who simply enyojed browsing the entries - look out for the next Photographers Inc. in the coming week.

Forgotten Treasures Reminder

The sunshine beams onto the golden sand, reflecting rays of heat into the air. A man dusts off an ancient slab of rock. To his right and left, men ready their sticks to prod the entrance open. Sounds like an Indiana Jones movie doesn't it? Could this be a Forgotten Treasure or a booby trap? If you haven’t submitted your entry to the Forgotten Treasures remake contest, I would hustle and finish up the final touches to your map now! Only four days remain until the original deadline for you guys to submit your entry. However, we're extending that deadline by a week in order to give you all time to ensure your creations are as good as they possibly can be. That brings the due date forward to May the 21st. The staff have readied their shovels and are preparing to find the diamond in the rough - make sure your map is in there somewhere!
Forge Hub Graphics Reminder
In the latest edition of Forge Hub Graphics we are asking members to produce concept art of an original character. Characters must be the original work of the submitter. An original character is one that has never been published in a book, movie, game or any other form of media. Two character images must be submitted for the entry to count. The first is a standalone image, and the second an action picture. Only 12 days remain for members to submit their entry for the second edition of Forge Graphics. FH RPG Updater
With the Forgehub RPG being worked on extensively by all involved, Penguinish presents an update that will help you keep up with all the happenings iin the game.
The Auto-Updater is a nifty application that can be downloaded here. It's important to have the updater so that as the game is worked on, new updates like sprites, sheets and future acts can easily be added to your client folder without needing to re-download the game each time. Make sure to get the auto-updater and keep an eye out in the Updater thread above for new patches.

Forge The Studio
Following our guest apppearance on The Running Riot's latest podcast, which took place in a 'studio' created using forge (complete with comfy seats and viewing areas for guests), TRR announced their Forge The Studio contest. An open invitation to the forging community to upgrade their entry-level studio to a top of the line masterpiece, we'd love to see what you guys can come up with.
