Friday Night Fight!
Presenting ForgeHub's 3rd Friday Night Fight! This time we pitted our battle hardened staff against an up and coming force in ForgeHub, The review hub team. The staff were beginning to make a name for themselves regarding FnF, having lost both of their previous events - but no more of that! It was payback time.

Our first match took off trouble free, although i seemed to be the only person openly expressing my relief. There were a lot of occasions during this match where both teams almost scored, but all hope quickly perished to the front-end of a speeding Ghost. My Ghost. The game ended with a disappointing and slightly confusing 0-0.
Once game 2 had begun, the staff decided that we weren't going to be taking any prisoners. We quickly surrounded the base, capturing many territories at a time, leaving the defenders, and a few of our team, totally dumbstruck. The first round ended with a full score for the Staff. The 2nd round began strong for the attackers. We were initially swarmed by attackers, who were swiftly dispensed with, only to find more would take their place. The round also ended with full score for the Review Hub, keeping both teams still tied. The staff managed to get another full round, capturing all 8 points. With the final round, we were on our A-game, using a lot of co-ordination to secure a loss of only 6 territories and leaving the final score at 16-14 to the Staff.
Game 3: MLG Team Slayer on Hype
Our third game took off on Hype, a map built for true competition. We decided to play to 75, although we all agreed the score should have been slightly higher. The Review Hub took a strong initial lead, mopping up our Staff, who continually found themselves in the center area. We made a good comeback, closing the gap with some good teamwork, but we could not catch up to the loss we created at the start of the round. The final score was 75 - 62 to the Review Hub. A tie! That calls for a tiebreaker!
Game 4: Sniper Hill on Sniper Tundra
Our tiebreaker game was definitely a game to remember. Probably because it was the first game of Sniper Tundra that I actually played good on, me being the person with the Sharpshooter Medal. The game began good for the Staff, we secured a strong lead, but a few misplaced shots allowed the Review Hub to catch up, and catch up they did. They gained a good lead, but all was not over for the staff. We took ground in some strong positions, and sent the player with the worst shot into the hill, namely Grif. Poor old Grif was appointed bullet magnet for the game, but boy did it work. He gained a lot of hill time, which managed to tip the favour, winning us the game, and winning us the event. Yes i did say that correctly. The staff actually won!
