News And Updates
First things first, the down time. A couple days ago you may have experienced some downtime. I assure you I did not spill cheap, generic beer on the servers this time. Rather, we switched to a grid server, currently hosted at MediaTemple.net. The pros of this system are you will experience little or no lag along with no downtime - ever. The downside is it's more expensive, so expect to see our first advertiser's banner go up very soon.
I can't tell you much now, but expect some contests very soon.
New Positions
I would like everyone to congratulate Mallet for becoming our most recent addition to the Event Staff. He will be coordinating events in the Graphics and Arts section, be on the look out!
Caption Contest
This weeks caption contest was our first and is probably going to be our best. We had 10+ pages of snappy one-liners and clever photoshop trickery but in the end there can be only one!
