GOLF WORLD JOURNEY (set aside a couple of hours)

THE MAP IS NOW FIXED AFTER THE APRIL 2024 UPDATE CHANGED GOLF BALL PHYSICS. THE BALL HAS TO BE MOVING ON THE TEE. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF ANY FUTURE UPDATES BREAK.

If you beat the level and find a way to record it, please send me a link. While some players have bookmarked their Halo theater video, I cannot always view this playthrough. Watching playthroughs gives me feedback for updates and ideas for future levels.

My video skills are lacking. If anyone is willing to upload playthrough videos on YouTube or other sites, that would be great.

LEVEL 2: TREE TOP BOP- DONKEY KONG

After saving the princess, you come across the sprawling landscape of trees, barrel blasts, and monkey business. You have entered the Donkey Kong Jungle. This is the territory of the Grumble Volcano and his pesky minions. Find Donkey Kong’s house, navigate the caves, barrel blast away, traverse the mining operation, and take down the Grumble Volcano! See if you can find the hidden artifact required for a future level….

THIS IS NO ORDINARY GOLF! Overcome obstacles, solve puzzles, hit golf shots, and defeat bosses in this adventure course. This is a direct sequel to the 6-level series on Halo 5 (GWQ), the 5-level series Golf World Adventure (GWA) on Halo 4 and the 10-level Golf World Challenge (GWC) series on Halo Reach. Play with 1-4 players coop, same team, and you must use the Golf World Journey gametype.

SOME NOTES:

- First, solve the puzzles and obstacles to get to the tee areas! You’ll probably notice some inspirations from Nintendo and other games.

- FOR HITTING GOLF SHOTS, TRY MULTIPLE METHODS. CROUCHING, HITTING BEHIND THE BALL, AND HITTING THE BALL DIRECTLY ALL PRODUCE DIFFERENT RESULTS. GENERALLY, HITTING THE BALL AT ITS TOP SENDS IT HIGHER.

- You may have to look and think a little, but it shouldn’t be too cryptic on where you need to hit the ball. You will know when you have made a good shot with visual or sound cues (although be patient) and you can proceed in the map.

- In the puzzle sections, you will have to look and interact with things similar to other puzzle levels on this site. Some parts are non-linear.
